When I showed the back cover of A Girl’s Guide to Modern European Philosophy by Charlotte Greig to a friend of mine, she said, “That is way too smart for me.” Perhaps she was taken aback by a few buzz words: antiques, pregnancy, Kierkegaard. Also, it is not a romance.
